This is the media statement released tonight by Zimbabwe’s election commission, ZEC!

They have literally said, “Leave us alone, we know nothing about it.”

It leaves no complainant except for Mike Chimombe and Mpofu, who released voice notes alleging that Wicknell Chivhayo didn’t pay them from the proceeds of the ZEC deal.

Chimombe and Mpofu are said to be out of the country in China.
Meanwhile, insiders in Government are saying the police want to interview them about two other deals involving millions looted from a goat project, and money looted from Harare City Council, going back to 2016.

Zimbabwe’s anti-corruption commission, ZACC, issued a statement saying that they want to interview Chivhayo, Chimombe and Mpofu on the ZEC deal.
Sources say Chivhayo was interviewed this week, and ZACC is now waiting for Chimombe and Mpofu.
It is going to be a long weekend for all involved!
