A disillusioned group of South African based Nelson Chamisa supporters are planning to Assassinate Zimbabwe’s youngest opposition leader and Lawyer Professor Talent Rusere. This comes after the young intellect refused to join forces with a Nelson Chamisa CCC faction inciting violence through social media platforms, calling out for an illegal Boarder Shutdown towards the 2024 August SADC Summit to be held in Zimbabwe.

Before turning his back to Western funded opposition politics in Zimbabwe,Rusere who once served as Mugabe’s central intelligence agent has been vociferously instrumental in Zimbabwe’s opposition politics since 2019. He founded the most influential #ZimbabweLivesMatter , #DiasporaVoteMatters and other successful demonstrations Zimbabweans ever staged at both local and international level.

According to the video published by ‘The African Vew’ Rusere said, “I do not subscribe to politics of hate. If it once happened that was before and not now! Politics must be for policy building, economic sustainability and national development nothing else more. I believe in national unity not this nonsense of peddling the Western Policy on the expanse of our National Soveirnity and a black child’s economic freedom.

I will take a stand against any form of National misrepresentation whenever it’s necessary. Our Politics must protect national interests and build our communities. Zimbabwe has been waiting for this kind of opposition engagement for the past 24 years and I believe,this is the right time to do what’s right”.
