Solipsism and power hunger has polarized relations within our political parties making it so difficult to pursue reforms that are needed for democracy, peace and economic developments.
There should be trust and cooperation between politicians and political parties in the opposition fraternity. Unity of purpose is very essential not only to politicians but the electorate and the nation at large. Intra- and inter-party dialogue is often an inclusive and sustainable way for governments to find solutions to complex national issues.
Our citizens need to understand that ,”a government is only made of both the ruling and the opposition”. The highest level of political ignorance is when the suffering citizens take a firm stand supporting lazy politicians blaming their counter political parties for poor Governance in the country yet they are doing nothing and have been doing nothing since two decades ago if not just foul crying waiting for the next election . Our opposition leaders must learn from South Africa. Opposition parties must be voted for service delivery not just preaching change!.
We need a Dialogue that requires politicians to equally and properly engage with one another—to reflect, exchange views and seek consensus on the best solutions for citizens not this solipsistic madness of calling others names without meanings!
